this is really excellent, totally different from what i was expecting on a collab involving Cagey House, i love the lyrics and the singing style....really laid back sort of reminds me of solid air the album by john martyn in some respects....it's hypnotic in the way it slowly flows along with all those little vocal inserts, that's pretty creepy, reminiscent of radiohead in style there i think. Genuinely intelligent piece that's full of little bits of magic that all adds up to an amazing track..haunting is the word i'd use to describe it, creepy and cool. Love this...onto my 3rd listen now

it slips into the minds eye for a lovely sad experience. great synth key action. the vocals are loosely placed over the haunting melody which makes my eager ear listen more closely.
strong work

Unbelievable, reminds me of Pink Floyd. I love everything about this, the musical melody, the vocal melody, the speaking parts in the back are truly amazing, the harmonies.

Yes, I hear elements of Pink Floyd too Love the beautiful flow/touches from the keys/synths. I like the combination of spoken and sung vocals. Great atmosphere. A pretty sound...with sinister undertones.

indeed!
The keys in this are really beautiful! Very heavy and somber yet also light and ethereal like a spirit. I like the use of the different clips to give the piece depth. The interlude at 1:45 is really cool! The lyrics and vocals are awesome!...very simple yet effectively painting a chilling vision. The production is really good on this! Excellent work!!!

This works so well, on so many levels, that I'm not sure I can comment on it completely
An ethereal ballad, ambient space, dark cerebral undertones... well, that's a start...
What I mean is, I think it's a great concoction! Perfect for late night, and substantial enough to come across as a strong contender, be it on the studio monitors, or even those cheesy speakers that are so often used to check out tunes on the web...
Great work!

Awesome arrangement. Vocals and harmonies are sweet. I love all the FX and samples. The track is haunting yet soothing at the same time....at least I'm not looking for strange shadows dancing across my studio walls Nice collab!

Haunting and melancholy. Love the melody and Halaka's vocals...this is just a stunning track. I imagine I'm in a photo gallery looking at images of people with their sad expressions forever frozen in time. Whew. Quite a trip.

How the fuck have I not heard this before?? I must suck, or something. Loving the trippy vocals over this stripped down melody. The tape samples are , as I would expect. And the digibells are offsetting in a pleasant way.
I hears me some backwards schtuff in here, which I can't help but dig. The mix does the job, but I think it could be a little more impactful I love this song!

This is interesting. It is and is not like the illegitimate child of the two creators. It certainly has hints of the two styles but it also moves in a third orthogonal direction. The vectorial addition of the two styles gives a non-Euclidean solution that moves in a dimension that is not parallel but still not perpendicular. Is time warped? I don't know but I think that my mind will soon be yet the demise will surely be delayed if the electrical impules from my grey matter can interact with the turbidity of this music. Nice going.

Melodies, something I've yet to grasp, something like this would be great to make, really nice and kinda dark and sinister. I should start collecting yr songs for the upcoming month when I'm writing.

Where have I been and how did I miss this? Yep, it definitely reminds me a little of Floyd to be completely unoriginal. This is a remarkable piece of cerebral lubricant guys and nothing short of genius. Wait, I know I’ve heard this. Is this posted on Halaka’s page? I distinctly remember the turn the tape over part. I am SO confused. Sorry and anyway, as I was saying-----Masterfully artistic and a phenomenal piece of work! Kudos!

Great song - beautiful and well-crafted.
Really cool feel overall.
On the surface, this sounds to me like Gothy Pink Floyd sung by Bowie, but of course, this statement doesn't do the piece justice. There's a lot more going on here, including what sounds like a modern classical influence (perhaps the rhythmic motif reminds me of that theme from _Carmen_).

this is gorgeous. sounds like a soundtrack to a good trip on smack, which you never hear or see in a movie. every trip on smack isn't bad involving someone throwing up. hollywood is full of shit.
love the vocal samples. this song has a gentle fierceness to it somehow. if this song was a puppy, i'd pet it but not hug it as i would be afraid it would rip my balls off in it's puppy mouth. bad puppy, give me back my balls.

heh
it's a track you need to trust, and I suppose it's the little askew voices in the bakground that won me.
Everything his great direction, the end of every phrase is like floating down a river in a canoe, towards a waterfall, then some miracle like a demonic eagle comes down and saves you at the last moment.
Halaka did a great job, those vocals sound a little more melodic than his usual stuff, amd ot worked just right.
wonderful song

Hmmm? A tranquil intro? I'm debating whether that's a comforting change...Oh man! The vox are so Beck. I like the little triangle or glockenspiel or whatever (especially around 1:10-1:20), it really sets the mood for those of us who forget to listen to the lyrics...I have no idea what this song is about, as I've just been examining the sounds rather than semantics. I'm sure it's about a the difficulties encountered in trying maintain one's sanity or somesuch subject. Anyway, a definitely intriguing adventure into a new style. There are a few spots where the rhythm of the notes doesn't work so well with the pitches, if you know what I mean (especially at 1:30ish). Anyway, this is great stretching music. I'll save it for those mornings when I just don't feel like doing my pre-work out limberin' up. Thanks for another unique addition to my collection.

OMG this is as eerily beautiful as one of my favourite albums of all time...'Amused to Death' Roger Waters, you really are quite amazing characters and I am so pleased to be able to come here and indulge in this astonishing music. A kind of meditation indeed...
Halaka's input is extraordinarily intuitive, with the gentle strange vocal soothing us into a mesmerizing world, a flipside that can be tapped into when you need to let go of normality. I really admire your work and would buy this without a shadow of a doubt.
